DoneByStudents Bookkeeping Assistant

A private, single-company tool that prepares draft invoices in QuickBooks Online.

This application is operated by DoneByStudents for one business. It is not a public product, it is not listed on the QuickBooks App Store, and it cannot be signed up for.

What it does

• Receives invoice details by email from the business owner.
• Creates a draft invoice in that business's QuickBooks Online company.
• Stops and asks a person whenever any detail is unclear or unrecognised.

What it deliberately does not do

• It never sends an invoice to a customer. Every invoice is left as a draft for the business owner to review and send herself.
• It cannot delete anything. No delete capability is implemented at all.
• It does not handle card numbers or take payments, and requests no payments permission.
• It does not create customer records on its own.

Access

The connection is authorised by the business owner from inside her own QuickBooks account, and she can revoke it there at any time. See disconnecting.
